On Saturday I headed to the northern town of Billingham near Stockton-on-Tees to shoot the lovely wedding of Claire & Glen at Wynyard Golf Club. Glen is an old friend of mine who i've known for many years through DJing in various nightclubs and I was honoured when he asked if I could shoot his and Claire's special wedding day. However shooting a friends wedding does bring an added level of pressure so me and my wing man for the day Brad had to really step up to the mark.
I joined Claire and her Bridesmaids in the morning at her and Glen's family home where they all got ready, drank a fair amount of prosecco and laughed a lot. Brad was with Glen and the lads for some champagne and Tequila and lots of boisterous banta! They then made their own way to the venue while the girls got picked up and went for a ride in a stunning Silver vintage Beauford. It was a beauty! Once Claire and the girls reached the Golf club, the ceremony commenced and this beautiful day unfolded. Everything went without a hitch and even the weather stayed on side! It was a genuinely lovely day and I'm so glad that I could be a part of it.
Below is a slideshow of some of the highlights from their day. Hopefully this gives you a little snippet into their wedding story. Its set to an acoustic version of Clean Bandit's Symphony, which Claire walked down the aisle too, and Ed Sheeran's brilliant How would you feel, which the guys had as their first dance. Grab the tissues, its a good one!
As the images may pass a little too quickly in the slideshow I've posted them below.
