For Friday's wedding I didn't have far to travel at all, 5 miles actually, to the stunning Weetwood Hall and Hotel on the outskirts of Leeds to join Sarah & Aaron for their special day. I've done quite a bit of traveling for my recent weddings so it was nice change to have a local Leeds wedding to photograph.
Sarah and I have known each other for about 10 years as we used to work together at the good ship Oceana (a nightclub in Leeds). She got in touch with me last year and asked if I would shoot her wedding as I was recommended to her by Amy her friend, who had been a bridesmaid for Chelsea last year and said I was ace! Thanks Amy!!
Their day was filled with love, laughter and lots of tears, especially through Aaron's emotional speech in which I think got everybody in the room reaching for the tissues, including myself. As always I joined Sarah and the girls for morning preparations while my good friend and partner in crime Brad managed to squeeze in to Aaron's room along with his 10 groomsmen! We then met up at the ceremony and grabbed various angles of all the magic as it happened.
Below is a slideshow containing some of our highlights from their awesome day. It's set to A Thousand Years by Christina Perri which Sarah walked down the aisle too and Disney's Beauty and the Beast which Sarah and Aaron had as their first dance.
As the images may pass a little too quickly in the slideshow I've posted them below for all to see.
