Freya & Harry

30.06.18

Where do I start with Freya and Harry's day? These two and their incredible guests were just so much fun to be around all day long. I don't think I have ever laughed so much during a groom's speech, especially when Harry read his own dance cue out loud, "now Floss", and proceeded to show everyone how it was done!

I joined Freya and her girls in the morning at her family home, just on the outskirts of Preston. Everything was nice and relaxed thanks to Freya's super organised morning timetable and the girl's calm nature. Once Freya had slipped into her gorgeous Justin Alexander wedding dress we had plenty of time for a few relaxed family portraits in their stunning garden before jumping in the cars and heading to St Mary's Church just round the corner.  Harry and his best men were already there waiting outside so after grabbing a few quick shots all suited and booted, we went inside to await the arrival of Freya and commence with a truly beautiful ceremony.

Afterwards, Freya and Harry's guests all jumped on a coach and headed down the M6 to the amazing Wellbeing Farm.  I already had Sam, a fellow photographer and videographer who owns Moss Wedding Films  waiting for the guests to arrive while Freya and Harry spent and extra 15 minutes in and around the church for some beautiful portraits.

The afternoon reception at The Wellbeing Farm was amazing and so much fun with lots of things for everybody to do and see including their very own donkeys and Llamas, one of which Freya got very friendly with. After some great food and a host of entertainment by PC Roadshow's Daren, we had some incredible and truly hilarious speeches and a quick game of Mr & Mrs.

Just before the sun set we managed to head up to the fields behind the farm for a few more portraits and then went fully swing into cutting the cake with a lightsaber and an amazing and funky first dance. After a lot of full dance floor action and one incredible final portrait, I left Freya, Harry and their guests to dance the night away.

Thank you Freya & Harry for having me along, it was truly awesome!
