Here you will find a selection of wedding stories I’ve lucky enough to be a part of over the many years of being a wedding photographer along with some other top wedding day tips. It’s a great source of wedding inspiration adn guidance. Every year I try and create an annual round up with some of the highlights from the past 12 months and there may even be the odd geeky photography related post as I exercise my creative muscles and gear. Manchester Wedding Photography - Helen & Gary
A few weeks back I was lucky enough to be Helen and Gary’s Manchester Wedding Photographer for their big day in Wythenshawe, on the outskirts of Manchester City Centre. Gaz and Helen are the kind of super relaxed couple that are just great fun to be around. There was dancing during bridal preparations, bagpipes for the ceremony and whiskey shots galore during the evening reception… and most importantly I think we genuinely laughed all day long.
Hacienda Na Xamena, Ibiza Destination Wedding Photography - Rachel & Mo
Where do I start with this incredible wedding? I guess first and foremost I have to say a massive thank you to Rachel & Mo for trusting me to be their Ibiza wedding photographer. This was my first destination wedding and if I am to be honest there is a hell of a lot to take on board and think about, more so than a UK wedding. The timings, the light, the travelling, plus the fact you are in a different country and if something goes wrong you just have to adapt quickly (more on this later). Rachel and Mo could have quite easily gone with an established Ibiza wedding photographer but instead, after seeing lots of my work and having plenty of chats about their day, they put their trust not only in me, but also at my recommendation, in my good friend Sam from Moss Wedding Films, to capture their day as a team through both wedding photography and videography. The term "Dream Team" is very often over used however, if you are reading this Sam, in this instance it totally applies!
Holdsworth House Wedding Photography - Morgane & Mark
On the day France won the world cup, Morgane, a stunning French lady married Mark, her English gent, and both of them and their families enjoyed an incredible summers day wedding at the wonderful Holdswoth House near Halifax.
Crow Hill Wedding Photography - Gemma & Gary
Here is the simply wonderful day of Gemma & Gary, who asked me to be their Crow Hill wedding photographer just over a year ago. I'm pretty sure you'll be able to tell by the massive smiles on both Gemma and Gary's faces but their day was filled day with infectious laughter and fun from start to finish.
The Wellbeing Farm Wedding Photography - Freya & Harry
Where do I start with Freya and Harry's day? These two and their incredible guests were just so much fun to be around all day long. I don't think I have ever laughed so much during a groom's speech, especially when Harry read his own dance cue out loud, "now Floss", and proceeded to show everyone how it was done!
Warterton Park Hotel Wedding Photography - Victoria & James
Victoria and James are two of the hardest working, time giving and life living people I know. They are also the epitome of a couple very much in love and I am honoured to have photographed their special day and to be able to call them my friends.
Cragwood Country House Wedding Photography - Julie & Ben
Where do I start with Julie and Ben's big day? A stunning venue in an incredible setting, a beautiful and very much in love couple and a wonderful group of close friends and family. I felt honoured to capture their special day and was welcomed more as a guest with a camera rather than a wedding photographer. I laughed, I cried and I partied with everyone and it was wonderful.
Weetwood Hall Wedding Photography - Nicola & Phill
Not all weddings take an age to plan. Nicola & Phill got in touch with me just before Christmas about being their Weetwood Hall wedding photographer on their special day in May. Fast forward 6 months and what an incredible job they did!

Bekki & Eddy are incredible together. They love each other, they love their family and they to have fun, all of which is highly infectious to anyone around them as I found out at their incredible wedding last week at Woodlands hotel in Leeds.
